Our Programs
One program, multiple pillars — designed to remove every reasonable barrier between an underprivileged student and a complete education.
Student Educational Support
Each sponsored student enters a formal Student Educational Support Agreement with the Society. The agreement defines the support we provide, the responsibilities of the student, and the measures of continuation.
Tuition & Examination Fees
Paid directly to the teaching institution — not handed in cash to the student or family. This protects every dollar and ensures it reaches the classroom it was given for.
Books, Uniforms & Supplies
Textbooks, uniforms, stationery, and other educational essentials are provided as needed throughout the academic year.
Travel Allowance
For students whose schools are far from home, a monthly or per-semester travel allowance (in PKR) keeps them in the seat where they belong.
Boarding Allowance
Where boarding is necessary to attend school, a per-month or per-semester boarding allowance is provided in line with local cost-of-living.
Mentorship & Counseling
We monitor each student's progress, offer guidance, and provide academic and personal support throughout their time with us.
Progress Reviews
Continuation of support each term is conditional on satisfactory attendance and academic performance — keeping the bar high without making it punitive.
Who we support
We prioritize students who:
- • Are residents of Thorar and its catchment area.
- • Have demonstrated genuine financial need.
- • Are willing to maintain satisfactory attendance and academic effort.
- • Will use all support strictly for educational purposes.
- • Are nominated or referred through a credible local school, family, or community member.
What we do not cover
To be transparent about scope, the Society does not assume responsibility for:
- • Personal safety or security of the student.
- • Health-related issues or medical treatment.
- • Organizing transportation or boarding (allowance only).
- • Any unlawful or socially unacceptable conduct of the student.
Full terms appear in the Student Educational Support Agreement that all sponsored students sign with the Society.
Student responsibilities
Sponsorship is a partnership. Each student agrees to a clear set of expectations.
Attend regularly
Maintain satisfactory attendance throughout each term.
Work diligently
Achieve acceptable academic performance to qualify for the next semester's fee and allowance.
Submit reports
Provide academic reports or transcripts to the Society at the end of each term or semester.
Use support purposefully
Use all financial and material support solely for educational purposes.
Conduct with integrity
Avoid any actions that may bring disrepute to the Society or to the institution they attend.
Stay in touch
Promptly inform the Society of any change in personal or academic circumstances.

These are not active programs and we make no commitment about scope or timing. They are areas where, with sustained donor support and the right partnerships, we would like to extend our work in the years ahead.
Vocational & skills training
Practical skills — trades, computing, language — alongside formal schooling.
Girls' education focus
Targeted scholarships in regions where access to schooling is most uneven.
Partner-school grants
Direct grants for libraries, learning materials, and teacher training.
