Where every child's dream meets a destination.

Education First broadens educational and skills-development opportunities for underprivileged students in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, primarily focusing on Thorar and its catchment area.

What We Do

A complete pathway to support education & skills development.

We don't just hand out funds — we provide financial support, the logistics to learn, and stay with each student through the journey.

Tuition

Tuition and examination fees go straight to the teaching institution — no cash in middle hands. Your support reaches the classroom.

Books, Uniforms & Supplies

Every learner gets compensated for the textbooks, uniforms, and materials they need — removing the small barriers that keep students out of school.

Traveling & Boarding Allowance

Where distance is the obstacle, we provide monthly traveling and boarding allowances to keep students in their seats — not on the road home.

Mentorship & Counseling

We monitor each student's progress and pair them with mentors — academic and personal guidance through every term.

Locally Rooted

We work with families, schools, and communities on the ground across Azad Jammu & Kashmir, primarily focusing on Thorar and its catchment area, and grow from there.

Our Story

Founded by friends with one shared belief: education changes everything.

Education First International Society was incorporated in Alberta on February 22, 2024, by five founding members based in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.

We are a charitable, non-profit society governed by a Board of Directors and operating under a published set of bylaws. We are not a for-profit entity, and our resources are committed entirely to advancing learning for students who would otherwise be left behind.

How It Works

From application to graduation — a transparent process.

1

Apply

Students or guardians submit an application with academic records and a brief background.

2

Review

Our review committee verifies need, motivation, and academic potential — fairly and confidentially.

3

Sponsor

Approved students are matched with funding. Tuition is paid directly to the institution; traveling & boarding allowances are given directly to the student/guardian.

4

Mentor

We track progress, supply books & allowances, and renew support each term based on performance.

Become the reason a child stays in school.

Sponsor a student for a year, fund a single semester, or contribute to our general scholarship pool. Every dollar reaches a learner.
